What's Opening Next at Entrada: A Fall 2026 Progress Check for Westlake Residents

Entrada in Westlake: A Fall 2026 Progress Check

For years, driving past the corner of Davis Boulevard and Highway 114 felt like watching a slow-motion still life. Cranes moved, then they didn't. A Starbucks arrived. A CVS. A parking garage rose behind screening. Timelines shifted quietly on the town website while the rest of Entrada stayed a set of intentions.

Fall 2026 is the first stretch where that pattern breaks in a specific, measurable way. The constraint has moved. It is no longer "will the amenity core get built." It is a single sentence about a service road, buried in a July update from the Town, that explains almost every date a resident actually cares about.

The Bottleneck Nobody Puts on a Rendering

Read the July 15, 2026 update from the Town's planning office closely and one line does more work than the rest. The parking garage is 95% complete and will be ready to open this summer, and the restaurants are ready to open whenever the Town receives the permit applications. That is not the news. The news is what comes next. The developer is waiting to open the restaurants, which include Primos, Dahlia, and Parliament, after the service road connection to Highway 114 is complete.

Three restaurants. One access road. That is the whole story of Entrada's autumn.

Every rendering ever published for this project has emphasized the canal, the pedestrian bridge modeled after Venice, the Catalonian rooflines. None of them draw the service road. Yet a resident planning a Thursday-night reservation for the last quarter of the year should watch that piece of asphalt more carefully than any wedding chapel or reception hall. When the connection opens, the permit applications go in, and three restaurants light up in short succession. Until it does, the garage will sit finished, and the Primos, Dahlia, and Parliament signage will read as a promise rather than a menu.

What Is Actually Ready, and What Is Waiting

The Town's own construction summary reads differently once the bottleneck is named. Sorted by what is holding each piece back, it looks like this:

Project Status (July 2026) What It's Waiting On
Entrada parking garage 95% complete Nothing; opens this summer
Primos, Dahlia, Parliament restaurants Buildings ready Service road connection to Highway 114
The View office building, next to Primrose Academy Nearing completion Final work; open by fall
Four-story mixed-use at 49 Arta Drive Permit issued Vertical construction
Small office in the Starbucks retail corner parking lot Commercial permit under review Town review
26 additional single-family residential permits Under review Town review
Residential Repository, adjacent to parking garage Not started Begins construction this fall

Sources for the table: the Town's July 15, 2026 status note, which lays out the four-story mixed-use building permitted at 49 Arta Drive between CVS and Senderra Title, with commercial uses on the ground floor and 10 condo units on the upper floors, and the residential repository adjacent to the parking garage starting construction this fall, along with The View office building next to Primrose Academy nearing completion and expected to open by the fall. The commercial permit in the Starbucks corner parking lot and the 26 residential permits are both listed as under review in that same update.

The reason to read this as a table rather than a paragraph: it makes the sequence visible. Two things open on their own timeline (the garage, The View). Three things are gated by one road (the restaurants). Everything else is a permit-desk question, which is faster than a construction question. If you live in 76262, that is the mental model to carry into fall.

The Piece That Changes the Skyline

The March 31, 2026 Town Council action is the one to remember for the longer horizon. Town Council approved a development plan amendment request from Entrada developer Centurion American to allow for major changes to the amenity core, including a new retail and events area adjacent to the parking garage that is currently under construction, adding a hotel, office space, restaurants, and a residential repository along Highway 114, along with potential luxury condominiums atop retail amenities and offices, proposed to begin construction early next year.

The paraphrase most residents heard at the time was "they're adding more stuff." The relevant detail is the phrase residential repository along Highway 114. Entrada was originally sold to the town as an 85-acre master plan with, per the Town's summary page, 322 residential units in single-family villas, townhomes, and condominiums, plus offices, retail, hotels, and entertainment across the 85 acres, characterized by curvilinear narrow roads and zero lot setbacks. The 2026 amendment layers vertical density on top of that. Condos over retail. A hotel plot. An events venue that gives the parking garage a purpose beyond storing cars.

For an existing Westlake homeowner, the practical read is that the visible face of Entrada from Highway 114 will change scale within the next two construction seasons. It stops being a low European village viewed from a service road. It starts being a mixed-use frontage.

Where Residents Actually Go on a Thursday Night in the Meantime

Until the service road opens and the Primos, Dahlia, Parliament trio comes online, the Thursday-night map inside town limits stays where it has been: on the Solana side of Highway 114. The Town's own restaurants and shopping page acknowledges the geography plainly. Westlake offers a small variety of restaurants within the Town's limits, and Solana at the Solana/Kirkwood Boulevard exit houses several of the area's best dining options, including classic Tex-Mex and traditional Italian cuisine, while the Marriott Dallas/Fort Worth Westlake hotel adds Solana Great Room and House of Toro Chophouse and Patio. That same page defers the rest of the answer to Keller, Roanoke, Southlake, and Trophy Club. It is an unusually honest municipal admission, and it is the baseline against which Entrada's opening will be measured.

The concert series is doing more work than usual this year while the food side of the equation catches up. There will be food, drinks, and games at both concerts, and the Terra Lounge will also be open for business, at 1500 Solana Blvd behind building 4 in Westlake from 6 to 7:30 pm. That is where a Westlake evening currently lives. It is not a temporary arrangement. When Entrada does open its restaurants, the two poles of the town, Solana on one side of 114 and Entrada on the other, become genuinely walkable options on the same evening rather than one node choosing on behalf of the other.

What This Means for Your Address

A short, honest interpretation, since the research supports it.

First, the Entrada frontage on Highway 114 is going to intensify. Condos over retail is a different visual and traffic pattern than what the original site plan drew, and the town has now approved the amendment that permits it. Homeowners with sightlines toward the 114 corridor should expect the horizon to change shape during 2027.

Second, the near-term amenity gain for existing Westlake households is smaller than the marketing suggests, but real. Three restaurants inside town limits is not a food scene. It is, however, three more reservations than the town has offered before, and it removes the automatic drive to Southlake for weeknight dinner.

Third, the Residential Repository is the piece worth watching for anyone tracking condominium values inside 76262. The Residential Repository adjacent to the parking garage will start construction this Fall. Combined with the ten-unit condo count at 49 Arta and the amendment's condo-over-retail language, Entrada is quietly becoming a for-sale attached-product submarket, adjacent to a town otherwise defined by estate lots. Whether that is a comparable to your address or an escape valve for it depends entirely on the product you own.

Fourth, and least glamorous: the service road is the leading indicator. Anyone offering you a firm Entrada opening date without referencing the Highway 114 service road connection is guessing. The Town's own language, that combined with the soon-to-be-opened restaurants, reception hall, and chapel, the amenity core of Entrada will begin to take shape in the next year or two, is the most reliable framing you will get.

For homeowners considering how these changes affect the value of a specific street inside Westlake, or evaluating whether a villa or condominium inside Entrada makes sense as the amenity core comes online, the analysis is address-specific and worth doing carefully.
